Adept Nursing & Rehab of Central City is seeking an organized, people-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our leadership team. Fun, friendly work atmosphere with a supportive leadership team Position Summary The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This position assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, personnel records, and employee engagement while serving as a welcoming resource for current and prospective employees. Responsibilities Coordinate recruitment efforts, including posting positions, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR documentation Assist with employee benefits enrollment and answer benefit-related questions Track employee certifications, licenses, and required education to ensure compliance Process new hires, status changes, and employee separations Assist with payroll-related documentation and timekeeping as needed Support employee recognition and appreciation programs Help coordinate employee events, trainings, and educational opportunities Maintain confidentiality of employee information Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment regulations Provide excellent customer service to employees, applicants, and visitors Partner with department managers to support staffing and retention initiatives Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications Previous Human Resources experience preferred, preferably in healthcare or long-term care Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll software Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices preferred Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
