Job Description
We are looking for a capable Human Resources (HR) Administrator to support core HR operations for a manufacturing organization in Parsippany, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone early in their career with solid foundational HR experience or a strong academic background and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, sound judgment when handling sensitive information, and a dependable approach to employee support and administrative coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day HR administrative activities, ensuring employee records, documentation, and internal files remain accurate and up to date.
- Manage background screening processes and follow through on pre-employment requirements to support timely and compliant hiring.
- Prepare, review, and distribute employment-related forms, letters, and other HR correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
- Assist with benefits administration by supporting enrollments, updates, employee questions, and related documentation.
- Maintain organized HR records and help ensure all paperwork aligns with company policies and applicable legal standards.
- Partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to support onboarding, employee status changes, and other routine HR transactions.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries on HR processes, escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
- Contribute to process improvements and provide administrative support for additional HR projects as business needs evolve.
