Job Description
Important 100% On-Site Position Temporary to Permanent Must be less than an hour from Ewing, NJ Job Summary The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting essential Human Resources functions, ensuring the efficient operation of HR processes, and enhancing the overall employee experience. This role combines administrative responsibilities with the coordination of HR activities across recruitment, employee support, onboarding, offboarding, benefits, compliance, and data management. Key Responsibilities HR Data Management and Compliance Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in both physical and digital formats. Update HR databases and systems with employee information, including status changes, new hires, terminations, and performance documentation. Ensure compliance with legal and company documentation retention policies. Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring proper documentation and reporting. Prepare for audits and HR-related assessments.
Benefits and Payroll Coordination Respond to employee inquiries regarding health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs. Coordinate open enrollment processes and support benefits communication initiatives. Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations promptly. Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate tracking of attendance, time off, and leave requests. Support payroll processing by ensuring employee data is current and accurate. Policy Administration and Documentation Assist with maintaining and distributing updated HR policies, ensuring employees have easy access to current guidelines. Support compliance by helping to update and review HR documents for accuracy and legal alignment. Organize HR documents, including policies and employee resources, for easy access and use. Recruitment and Onboarding Support Assist with job postings, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with HRIS systems. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
