Job Description

Job Overview Betterday Coffee is seeking a detail oriented person familiar with the restaurant industry to perform once a week bookkeeping duties, as well as, assist the Floor Manager with Scheduling, payroll, and HR resposibilities. This multifaceted role is an opportunity, as a part time position, to be an integral part our organization. With roles involved in the banking, cash drawers, customer service, Inventory, Barista, IT, and HR. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, Honesty and an interest to learn the job positions involved in running the FOH. This position is for someone who wants to work for a small independent family restaurant in a dynamic role with multiple responsibility focused jobs. Duties Once a week bookkeeping tasks including bank and sales reconciliations, and journal entries. Process biweekly payroll inputting hours and tip using Gusto. Maintain records of financial transactions, and reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy. Develop a knowledge of Front of House jobs and duties by working shifts (barista and counter service) and working in a supportive role with manager and staff. Support HR functions including onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, assisting with benefits administration, and coordinating staff schedules. Assist with administrative duties such as managing, and handling general inquiries from staff and customers.
Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 20.0 per week
