Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources and Payroll Coordinator to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and payroll processing. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth HR operations, and compliance with employment laws. Working days and hours negotiable. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness Coordinate talent acquisition efforts including sourcing candidates and supporting onboarding processes Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation claims Support performance management activities by assisting with employee evaluations Ensure compliance with employment & labor laws, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and HR legal standards through diligent recordkeeping and policy updates Handle confidential personnel information with integrity while maintaining accurate data entry and HR documentation Qualifications Experience in HR or payroll roles Hands-on experience with payroll processing software Knowledge of benefits administration, workers' compensation procedures a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully and professionally Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated ability to manage conflict resolution and employee relations effectively
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 - 16.0 per week
