About Jerritt Canyon The Jerritt Canyon deposit was discovered in 1972, and the first gold production from the property occurred in 1981. The Jerritt Canyon property contains 30,821 hectares of mining claims located in the mining-friendly state of Nevada. First Majestic acquired the Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine from Sprott Mining Inc. on April 30, 2021. In May 2023, operations were suspended to prioritize exploration and technical studies. Jerritt Canyon is now entering a new phase of evaluation and planning, requiring substantial technical support to advance the work necessary for a potential future restart of operations. The Opportunity We are seeking a highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to support full-cycle recruitment coordination and onboarding for our gold mining operations. This role helps create a positive candidate and new-hire experience by coordinating interviews, arranging site visits, maintaining timely communication, and supporting pre-employment and onboarding activities. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and responsive, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple schedules, details, and deadlines. Experience supporting recruitment in mining, natural resources, heavy industry, construction, or another field-based operational environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities Coordinate phone, video, and in-person interviews with candidates and hiring managers. Manage interview calendars and ensure candidates and interview teams have the information they need. Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system. Track candidates through each stage of the hiring process and help keep the recruitment process moving. Support recruiters with candidate communication, interview preparation, reference checks, background checks, and other recruiting tasks. Coordinate candidate mine-site visits, including schedules, site access, travel, lodging, meals, directions, and safety information. Provide timely updates to candidates, hiring managers, HR, and site leadership throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. Support new-hire onboarding from offer acceptance through orientation. Coordinate pre-employment requirements, employment documentation, site access, travel arrangements, training, start-date communication, and follow-up. Serve as a collaborative member of the Human Resources team and help represent the Company's values through professional, respectful, and responsive communication. Support recruiting and onboarding activities in line with company policies, equal employment opportunity requirements, privacy expectations, and applicable pre-employment processes. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, Human Resources, administrative coordination, talent acquisition, or a similar role preferred. Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple calendars, interviews, meetings, or complex schedules. Professional communication style with the ability to represent the Human Resources team positively with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and external partners. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS preferred. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism. Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
