Human Resources Assistant Help Others to

Today, we are a leading not-for-profit agency employing 1300+ staff and providing over 70 program sites in Nassau and Suffolk. ACLD assists children, teens and adults in reaching the highest level of independence with the freedom to

in their hopes, dreams and accomplishments. To accomplish this mission ACLD is recruiting a Human Resources Assistant. This position would be responsible for phone screening prospective candidates and administratively supporting the Human Resources Department.
This includes the following functions:
Retrieve, review resumes and contact applicants via phone/text and email Assist with tracking, monitoring and reviewing Driver's License reports to ensure employees are in compliance with Agency policyAssist with posting positions on
ADP HRIS
system, social media sites and other recruitment websitesProvide administrative support to the Human Resources team including phone coverage, file maintenance, data entry and file auditsAssist with reference checks, background investigations as needed
Qualifications:

Hours:
30 hours per week flexible with days/hoursBenefit eligible position.
Salary:
starting at 17.00 an hour An EOE m/f/d/v. Mon-Thurs 9-5 or can be 5 days a week with shorter days 30 hours per week.
