Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Human Resources team and providing optimal customer service to all customers both internally and externally. The specialist is the point person within the department and will triage visitors, calls, and emails directed to the site HR offices. The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for independently assessing, researching and responding to issues, questions, investigating and resolving all level of discrepancies related to employee records, policies, and regulatory requirements. Ensuring compliance is complete for hires and transfers as well as keeping the ATS up to date for tracking and reporting is a must. Responsible for conducting a review/audit process for transfers and new hires, including a review of system information and personnel file. The specialist manage, track, coordinate, and attend various events and orientation as well as assist with HR operations functions at their assigned sites.
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED, or two (2) years of relevant HR experience
EXPERIENCE A
minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources or Administrative Assistant experience required, completed HR internship may be accepted in lieu of experience requirement
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) software applications & Outlook Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills Ability to organize/prioritize multiple responsibilities Ability to work with little or no supervision Knowledge of standard office equipment (fax, copier, printer) Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines with patience and flexibility Demonstrates strong ability to maintain and deal with confidential data and issues Good judgment and diplomacy in being able to relate to all organizational levels Ability to independently prepare reports and correspondence Demonstrated customer service related competencies
WORKING CONDITIONS
ENVIRONMENT Normal office environment Extensive time sitting and typing Travel between sites may be required
