Non-exempt/Hourly Job Summary Responsible for time and attendance and payroll process for entire organization. Provides weekly employee call in report to HR Manager. Assists with NYS Disability, Workers Compensation, FMLA, Unemployment, Life and LTD cases as requested by the HR Manager. Works closely with Employee Health Manager to ensure accurate referral of cases for Workers Compensation as needed. Assists HR Manager with pre-employment reference check, pre-employment screenings. Responsible for completing and maintaining medical staff credentialing. Assists HR Manager with the employee benefit programs including; Health, dental, 403b, Life & Voluntary benefits. Serves as COBRA administrator. Assists HR Manager in planning annual Benefits Fair. Completes OSHA log and reports to the CFO and HR Manager reportable or lost time cases. Serves on the Safety Committee. Assists HR Manager as requested. Education, Training and Experience High school graduate with preferred work experience involving payroll processes. Must be computer proficient Special Equipment/Skills Prior computer experience required. Requires proficient communication skills; oral/written and excellent interpersonal skills. Work Environment Hazards Requires lifting of office equipment and supplies Work Contact Group All organizational departments, staff, volunteers and visitors. Special Physical Demands Sitting for long periods of time. Requirement of multi-tasking, frequent deadlines Supervises No supervisory responsibilities
