Description of Duties and Tasks Student Recruitment & Outreach Assist with recruitment activities for the CAST and STARS programs, including outreach events, information sessions, and community engagement efforts. Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments. Maintain consistent communication with applicants regarding deadlines, documentation, orientation, and enrollment requirements. Support marketing and outreach initiatives in collaboration with program leadership and communications staff. Administrative Responsibilities Prepare reports, correspondence, and program materials. Maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with FERPA and institutional policies. Support continuous improvement efforts related to enrollment processes and student engagement. Perform other duties as assigned. Program Coordination Maintain enrollment reports, participation data, and program tracking metrics. Support scheduling, logistics, and communication for program events, workshops, and meetings. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to ensure smooth program operations. Assist with compliance requirements, grant reporting, and documentation as needed. Enrollment & Student Support Guide students through the admissions, registration, and onboarding processes. Assist students with completing applications, forms, and required enrollment documentation. Monitor enrollment status and maintain accurate student records in institutional databases and tracking systems. Coordinate orientation sessions and onboarding activities for new participants. Required Education Bachelor's degree. Four (4) years of related work experience OR Associate's Degree plus two (2) years of related work experience can be substituted for the required education Preferred Education Master's Degree Skills Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience using student information systems, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with multicultural student populations and community partners. Other Preferred Qualifications Experience working in higher education, workforce development, or community-based programs. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) preferred. Experience with outreach, recruitment, or case management. Familiarity with adult learners, first-generation students, or underserved populations. Physical Requirements Work is performed in a standard office or similar environment. Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds. Safety Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior.
