Join the Pusterla team as a Human Resources Coordinator supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation that is part of a global organization. This role focuses on supporting employee happiness and growth while ensuring HR processes run smoothly. This position is ideal for a seasoned HR professional seeking a meaningful part-time role that can flexibly fit their lifestyle. The Coordinator plays a leadership role in delivering training and development opportunities, evaluating and improving team outcomes, and always maintaining a positive and safety-focused workplace. Preferred working hours are approximately 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, though we are open to discussing schedules for the right candidate.Optional:
for individuals interested in and prepared for additional responsibilities, 10-20 hours per week of bookkeeping and administrative duties are also available. About theCompany:

Responsibilities:
- Continuously support and embody a strong workplace safety culture, rooted in good decision-making.
- Lead and support training initiatives that help employees build skills and grow within the organization.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
- Meet with employees and managers to resolve conflicts, address performance concerns, perform fair investigations, and make good decisions.
- Develop and build employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive and collaborative environment and encourage continuous improvement.
- Maintain documentation and KPIs related to workplace safety initiatives.
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a resource for benefit-related questions.
- Evaluate and improve to benefits offerings and insurance administration.
- Manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, disability, and other applicable leave policies.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate payroll processing and related administrative tasks.
- Coordinate travel and benefits for visiting colleagues from Europe.
- Manage recruitment activities as needed, including job postings, interviews, candidate coordination, and onboarding support.
For optional admin hours:
- Basic bookkeeping functions such as accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Maintain financial records and assist with monthly reporting.
- Provide administrative support related to financial and operational activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven HR experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maturity.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful role
- Collaborative and happy to work in teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Associates degree or equivalent.
Pay:
$26.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:
