Job Summary As a Human Resources Coordinator at John W. Danforth Company, you will support the company's Power of Our People strategy through the coordination of critical HR processes, including talent acquisition support, employee onboarding, and other important HR initiatives. In this role, you'll help shape the employee experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our HR function. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support the talent acquisition process, including candidate scheduling, interview coordination, and pre-employment activities.
- Support the Talent Acquisition Business Partner by screening applicants and identifying qualified candidates based on job requirements and organizational needs.
- Effectively utilize the Applicant Tracking System for organization and tracking recruitment activities.
- Assist in scheduling new hire onboarding and coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a positive transition experience.
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain HR calendars, coordinate meetings, and provide administrative support to the HR team.
- Align conduct with HR leadership goals and objectives while exercising sound judgment.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Administration, or a related role.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding preferred.
- Knowledge of HR principles and best practices.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS platforms preferred; ADP Workforce Now and iCIMS experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to respond to requests with urgency and ownership.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
