Job Description
Job Overview The Part-Time HR & Recruiting Coordinator supports the Company's recruiting and human resources functions by assisting with talent acquisition, onboarding, personnel administration, and employee record maintenance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Post and maintain job openings on various recruiting platforms and job boards. Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Communicate professionally with applicants throughout the recruitment process. Assist with candidate evaluations and hiring recommendations based on job-related qualifications, skills, and experience. Support recruiting initiatives to help meet staffing needs in a timely manner. Human Resources Administration Assist with onboarding activities for new hires. Prepare and process new hire documentation and employment records. Coordinate with staffing agencies and recruiting partners as needed. Assist with employee offboarding processes and related documentation. Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files. Ensure HR documents are organized and compliant with company policies. Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department. Qualifications Required Experience Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources or related administrative experience. Minimum of one (1) year of experience using: Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook and Calendar Skills & Competencies Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Professional and ethical conduct. Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to perform the essential functions of the position in an office environment, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to regularly use a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. Ability to travel between company locations within Yonkers when business needs require. Language, Mathematical & Reasoning Skills Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, and business documents. Ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, applicants, and management. Ability to gather information, solve problems, and make sound administrative decisions.
