We are seeking an individual to join our Training Department team who will project a professional image through in person, phone, and email interactions with all employees, clients, and applicants. This full time Apprenticeship Assistant will mainly provide administrative support to the Workforce Development Manager within the Training Department. Do you enjoy talking to employees, giving presentations, and moderate data entry input? This position is the perfect mix! This opportunity gives you face-to-face interaction, while enjoying some peace and quiet tucked in your own space logging apprenticeship hours and supporting all aspects of the apprenticeship program.

Duties may include:

Assist the Workforce Development Manager as required in maintaining and executing apprenticeship programs Recruitment for apprenticeship through presentations and other types of events Data entry and scanning/filing of all Apprenticeship documents Assist with set up of all presentations Audit of apprenticeship classes Assist instructors with preparation of apprenticeship classes High school diploma or equivalent Driver's license with good record 1-3 years general office clerical experience Excellent interpersonal skills - outgoing and pleasant personality Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, & attention to detail Excellent computer skills in Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook, data entry Vaughn Industries is a family owned construction company headquartered in Carey, Ohio that has been in business for over 60 years.
