Job Description

We are looking for a Part-Time Human Resources (HR) Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone with prior HR exposure or strong administrative experience who can quickly contribute during a high-volume period. The position combines employee support, record coordination, and recruitment-related administration in a collaborative environment, with in-office attendance expected three days per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Support daily HR administrative activities by maintaining accurate employee records, updating documentation, and assisting with routine coordination tasks.
  • Help facilitate onboarding activities by preparing new employee materials, tracking completion steps, and ensuring a smooth start for incoming employees.
  • Conduct phone screens and assist with early-stage candidate communication to help move recruitment processes forward efficiently.
  • Process pre-employment documentation and monitor status updates to keep onboarding steps on schedule.
  • Enter and manage data within HR systems with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries by providing timely administrative support and escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Assist with employee relations documentation and general follow-up tasks connected to HR case support.
  • Coordinate scheduling for interviews and other HR-related meetings while helping maintain steady workflow during a busy season.
