H&P Protective Services Job Responsibilities Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the facility. Monitor employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicle traffic. Control access to the facility and verify identification and authorization. Conduct routine patrols of designated areas. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other security systems. Respond appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns. Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity reports, and required documentation. Enforce site-specific security procedures and company policies. Communicate professionally with facility management, employees, visitors, and emergency personnel. Protect company property, personnel, equipment, and assets. Maintain a safe and secure environment at all times. Requirements Valid Ohio Concealed Handgun License (CHL) or applicable Ohio armed-security authorization. Must meet all applicable requirements to work as an armed security officer in Ohio. Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct. Strong communication and observation skills. Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods. Previous armed security, military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred.
