We are looking for a HR Administrator to join our team in Tallmadge. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, solving problems, and learning the many different areas of Human Resources. About the Role The People Experience Administrator provides day-to-day administrative and employee support across the organization. As a key point of contact for employee questions and requests, you will help ensure employees receive timely, accurate, and helpful support. This position will also have exposure to recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee records, HRIS administration, employee events, compliance support, and PX projects . What You'll Do Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions regarding PX policies, benefits, leave, payroll routing, and general HR processes. Provide helpful and timely support while connecting employees with the appropriate PX team member or resource when needed. Support recruiting activities including resume review, phone screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, background checks, and hiring follow-up. Ensure new-hire information is accurately entered and maintained in the HRIS. Assist with onboarding and offboarding, including orientation logistics, documentation, system updates, and exit processes. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files. Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, 401(k), health benefits, and leave administration. Support compliance activities, required documentation, company policies, and employee communications. Prepare reports, correspondence, and other PX documentation. Help coordinate employee recognition and life-event acknowledgments, including birthdays, weddings, funerals, and other meaningful milestones. Support employee activities, events, communications, and PX-related needs across our brands. Participate in PX projects, process improvements, and department initiatives. Cross-train on PX processes to provide backup support and help maintain consistent service across the department. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, service-minded, and eager to learn . You don't need to know everything about HR on day one—we are looking for someone who is curious, asks questions, accepts feedback, and wants to grow.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of administrative experience; HR experience is a plus. Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable learning HRIS, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and other business systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on assigned responsibilities. Helpful, approachable, and service-oriented attitude. Ability to build positive relationships with employees, leaders, and team members. Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of HR processes and employment practices. Ability to work independently while recognizing when to ask questions or seek guidance. Flexibility to support changing priorities and department projects. Why Join Good Place Holdings?
