Job Details Physician Office | Kettering | Full-Time | First Shift Responsibilities & Requirements Job Summary The Office Assistant provides leadership assistant support, clerical, and physician support to the office, answering phones, filing, managing large physician clinical schedules, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking timelines. This individual takes care of office support functions; coordinating work assignments for leaders as needed, reviews work for accuracy, organizes & keeps office space clean. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Functions Managing and coordinating leadership calendars Scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and creating reports Physician clinical schedules & call schedules Data entry Answering phones, responding timely to patient requests, fax, emails Coordinate team meeting Agendas & take meeting minutes for distribution. Physicians & leadership clerical support requests. Time management skills. Excellent communication skills are required as this person will support a very large physician practice in the Hospital setting. Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent 3 years clerical experience Able to type 60 WPM Intermediate computer skills Prefer experience in Healthcare setting Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft office suite Ability to oversee leadership calendars & schedule meetings Overview Kettering Health is a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and more than 120 outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
