Monday - Friday Job Summary Action Group Staffing is seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide administrative support to a busy Human Resources department. This position will assist with employee records, HRIS updates, recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, employee events, and other day-to-day HR functions.
The ideal candidate will have previous HR or administrative experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of HR or office administrative experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive employee information Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel to various warehouse locations as needed, primarily in Tulsa , with occasional travel to Muskogee , OK , Oklahoma City, OK and Lowell, AR Pass drug screen and national background check Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field 2+ years of recruiting experience Experience with Paylocity , HRIS platforms, or similar HR software Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices Previous experience supporting employee onboarding, benefits, or HR-related events Responsibilities Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources department File, scan, organize, and maintain HR documents and employee records Maintain and update employee information in the HRIS system while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Conduct periodic audits of employee files and HR records to verify required documentation is complete and properly maintained Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, candidate dispositioning, and new-hire notifications Support onboarding and other new-hire administrative processes Assist with scheduling and coordinating HR-related activities Maintain uniform and company merchandise inventory, process orders, and organize stock for distribution Assist with benefits enrollment activities and employee communications Help coordinate company meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, retirement celebrations, and other HR events Provide timely and professional administrative support to employees and HR team members Travel to warehouse locations as needed to support HR operations Perform additional HR and administrative duties as assigned #INDT
