Compensation:
$17.65 - $22.36 - New hires will be placed at Step 1 through 9 dependent on prior contracted educational experience. Employees in qualifying positions will receive a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision and will receive contributions to their PERS retirement accounts. Qualifications:
Background in school operations desired One year clerical experience in typing, filing, word processing, answering phones, dealing with public; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in office practices. Experience with payroll, testing, transcripts, supervision and receptionist duties desired. Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office-Word, Excel, etc. Synergy & Odysseyware desired. Ability to exercise careful judgment, diplomacy and confidentiality in performance of duties Organized and able to multi-task Good communication skills - both written and oral __excellent telephone skills a must General office / clerical skills Good knowledge of Business English, spelling and punctuation Ability to compose and prepare correspondence using correct business English/proofread and edit documents for spelling, grammar, punctuation and format Excellent public relation skills in working with students, staff, parents and the general public Ability to remain calm, but act quickly in emergency situations Skills Testing may be required
