Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Human Resources/Office Assistant to join our team! In this vital role, you will provide administrative and operational support for the day-to-day functions of the Human Resources and Front Office departments. Additionally, this role will assist in maintaining accurate employee records throughout the employee lifecycle and support key HR functions including recruiting, on-boarding, benefits administration, payroll, and HR compliance. The position will also be responsible for front-office duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, sorting and distributing mail, and and providing administrative support to managers and other staff as needed. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Provide administrative support to Human Resources and Front Office departments. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, files, and HR documentation. Assist with recruitment process such as job postings, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, and preparing recruitment documentation. Respond to routine employee inquiries about HR policies, benefits, and payroll discrepancies. Direct more complex questions to the appropriate member of management. Assist with benefits administration, including employee enrollments, changes, and documentation. Monitor employee attendance. leave, and time-off records. Assist with maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws and regulations. Answer and direct incoming calls and greet and assist visitors in a professional manner. Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail. Provide administrative support to managers and other staff as needed. Schedule meetings, appointments, interviews, and other HR activities. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned. Professionalism Qualifications/Education High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Office Administration, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources Administration, Office Administration, or a related role preferred. Previous administrative, customer service, office, or HR experience is helpful. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, along with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality are fundamental for this position. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
