Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support key HR operations for a healthcare-focused organization in Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can manage onboarding activities, maintain accurate HR records, and help ensure a smooth employee experience in a remote environment aligned to Pacific Time hours. The role also includes supporting HR documentation updates and coordinating administrative processes with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new team members, ensuring timely completion of required steps and a positive candidate-to-employee transition.
- Administer background screening processes and follow up on outstanding items to keep recruitment workflows on schedule.
- Maintain and update HR records within HRIS platforms, ensuring employee data is accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Revise and enhance employee-facing documentation, including process guides and knowledge base materials, to reflect current system workflows and user needs.
- Track progress across multiple documentation and HR tasks using shared reporting tools and status trackers.
- Support day-to-day HR administration by responding to routine inquiries and assisting with process-related follow-up.
- Work independently to organize priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver consistent support across onboarding and compliance activities.
- Prior experience in human resources coordination, HR administration, or a similar support role.
- Hands-on experience with onboarding processes and employment background checks.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems; experience with platforms such as Workday or similar tools is beneficial.
- Ability to create, edit, or maintain training materials, user guides, or internal process documentation.
- Working knowledge of HR compliance practices and the importance of data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments independently.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to a remote team environment.
