A Human Resources Administrative Assistant supports an organization or company's HR department by performing personnel-related administrative tasks. Maintains HR records by entering new hires, transfers, terminations, employee changes, salary increases. Assists employees with benefit information and new employee setup. Schedules and tracks weekly overtime and internal staff events.

We are currently seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Accounting & HR Administrative Assistant to join our team and support our Controller/HR Manager and daily office operations. This is a part-time, on-site position based in our San Clemente office, approximately 24 hours per week . Key Responsibilities Assist the Controller with accounts payable and accounts receivable Assist with payroll processing and related administrative functions Provide administrative support for Human Resources , including employee records, onboarding documentation, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks Perform order entry and maintain accurate order information Generate and maintain reports using company systems Process and review employee expense reports Assist with commission tracking and reporting Maintain accurate records and electronic files Assist with general accounting and administrative projects Provide additional administrative support to the Controller/HR Manager and management team as needed Minimum Qualifications Must be a U.S. citizen Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum Associate degree (AA) ; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred Proficiency with QuickBooks Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential financial and employee information Must live in or near San Clemente, California , and be able to reliably commute to our office Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and is equally comfortable working with numbers, reports, employees, and administrative details.
