About ASL Communication ASL Communication is an ASL interpreting agency. Sign language interpreting is the core of what we do and what we're known for, and we also provide spoken-language interpreting, CART, and captioning across Nevada, Utah, and Colorado. We've been doing this since 2006, serving school districts, hospital systems, courts, universities, and government agencies. We're a small team that treats interpreters as our most important customer, not just contractors we hire. Our reputation is built on filling assignments other agencies won't and doing right by the deaf, deaf-blind, and limited-English-proficiency communities we serve. We're growing, and this role is central to how we grow well. About the role Our ability to fill interpreting assignments depends on one thing: having interpreters who are fully onboarded, properly credentialed and badged, accurately set up in our systems, and ready and willing to accept work. This role is responsible for making that happen. As our Interpreter Concierge, you own each interpreter from the moment they're recruited to the moment they're ready to work, and you keep them ready after that. You're the connection between recruiting and scheduling, and you directly protect the near-99% fill rate our clients count on. This role rewards consistency and follow-through, not adrenaline. If you love taking a proven process and running it cleanly every time, keeping dozens of details from slipping, and building real relationships with the people you support, you'll do well here. What you'll do Support interpreter success. From the moment an interpreter says yes to working with us, through their first assignment and beyond, you're their main point of contact. You make sure they're properly onboarded, set up correctly in our system, and ready to start seeing and accepting assignments. Own the onboarding pipeline. Run our proprietary onboarding sequence ("Path to Partnership") and interpreter project boards. Move every new interpreter from recruited to documents complete to credentialed to badged to ready-to-work, with nothing stalling in between. Manage credentialing and badging. Track RID certification and CEUs, state interpreter registry status, and the badge and tier requirements across our eight interpreting work categories. Assemble each interpreter's file so it's complete and decision-ready. Run a standing audit of who's been badged and who hasn't, and work the gap list until it closes. Keep our systems accurate. Own the accuracy of every interpreter's profile in our operations software: correct group placement, current availability, up-to-date credentials and work categories, and clear notes on badges and preferences that a scheduler can scan and act on. This data sits directly beneath our fill rate, so precision matters. Keep interpreters ready and equipped. Flag lapsing credentials before they expire, nudge renewals, and keep availability current. Make sure active interpreters have what they need in hand, including business cards and feedback cards, and restock ahead of busy periods. Absorb the surges. Onboard interpreters in batches through the same repeatable process during back-to-school and conference seasons, so growth never turns into a scramble. Communicate and support. Own our recurring interpreter newsletter (credential deadlines, process changes, upcoming work, and recognition), and be the first point of contact helping interpreters get set up and navigate our self-service portal. Work with our leadership team and interpreter advisory committee to make sure projects that help interpreters actually get executed. Be a presence in the community. This is a Las Vegas-based hybrid role. You'll work from home the vast majority of the time, and some of the time you'll be out in the community in person, supporting the interpreter workshops we sponsor and other local events, and building relationships with interpreters face to face. You'll partner closely with our scheduling and technology teams, who own matching interpreters to assignments and maintaining the software itself. Your lane is getting interpreters in the door, ready, and accurately represented in our systems. What we're looking for You finish what you start. You're organized and systematic, and you keep a lot of moving pieces on track without being reminded. You're precise with data and documentation. Accuracy is a point of pride, not a chore. You're steady and dependable, and you genuinely like people. You build trust and rapport easily, and you're patient with the folks you support. You're comfortable living in software all day: CRMs, spreadsheets, project boards (we use Monday.com), and internal platforms you'll learn. You write clearly and warmly. A good chunk of this job is written communication with interpreters. You'd rather run a clean, repeatable system than improvise through chaos. Nice to have (not required): Experience in language access, interpreting, or the ASL and deaf community Familiarity with RID certification, CEUs, or state interpreter and CART registries Experience in credentialing, provider enrollment, onboarding, or HR coordination Experience supporting 1099 contractors or freelancers Some ASL knowledge, or a willingness to learn, is welcomed. This is a coordination role, not an interpreting one. Location, schedule, and pay
