Job Description
Human Resources Coordinator Our client is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support leave and disability administration while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively with employees and leadership at all levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and organizational strength while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is a hybrid model and occasional travel may be required. Human Resources Coordinator Responsibilities Coordinate leave of absence and disability requests, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company policies. Maintain accurate documentation in HR systems, timekeeping, and related modules. Serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave, ADA accommodations, and return-to-work processes. Partner with leadership to communicate updates and resolve issues related to attendance, accommodations, and compliance requirements. Support workers' compensation administration, ADA process steps, and reporting needs. Generate reports, respond to audits, and maintain accuracy of HR data and records. Facilitate new hire orientations covering benefits, policies, and compliance expectations. Respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and provide high-quality customer service. Research and interpret regulations, policies, and best practices to ensure accurate program administration. Assist with HR administrative tasks, including mail processing and HRIS data updates. Human Resources Coordinator Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years' experience in leave administration, benefits, or HR compliance support. Hands-on experience with LoA, ADA processes, and compliance-related documentation. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service, exercising diplomacy and professionalism. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency with MS Office applications; experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems (e.g., Kronos) preferred. Knowledge of federal and state HR regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ADAAA, FMLA, and ACA. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters with discretion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
Salary:
$55K-$62K/year.
