As an integral member of the HR team, this position partners with employees, hiring managers, and HR colleagues to coordinate consistent, high-quality HR processes and contribute to a positive candidate and employee experience. Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and a high degree of discretion when handling confidential information.
Responsibilities:
Exercise a high degree of professionalism, judgment, and confidentiality when handling employee, candidate, and company information Maintain accurate and complete HR records, employee files, and required documentation in accordance with company policies, procedures, and established recordkeeping practices Coordinate key Talent Acquisition activities, including candidate sourcing, resume review, initial phone screens, interview scheduling, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely follow-up and a professional, positive candidate experience Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including preparation of onboarding materials, orientation schedules, required employment documentation, and related HR system activities Partner with hiring managers and HR team members to ensure new employees experience a well-coordinated and effective transition into the organization Coordinate and support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and other HR-sponsored programs, events, and activities Maintain HR tracking tools and systems, monitoring deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up activities to support effective execution of HR priorities Prepare recurring and ad hoc HR reports, compile workforce-related data, and support data integrity across spreadsheets, HRIS platforms, and other HR systems Contribute to departmental projects, process improvement efforts, and other HR initiatives by taking ownership of assigned responsibilities and ensuring established milestones are met Serve as a professional point of contact for employees regarding HR processes, forms, policies, and general inquiries, escalating sensitive or complex matters as appropriate Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required 1-2 years of professional Human Resources, talent acquisition, HR operations, or related experience preferred Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, HRIS administration, or employee engagement activities strongly preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credible, productive working relationships across all levels of the organization Exceptional organizational, prioritization, project coordination, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Demonstrated judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, or employee-related information Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related systems; experience with UKG or a comparable
