Job Description
Position Overview Sofidel, a leading global manufacturer of tissue paper for hygienic and domestic use, is seeking a Temporary HR Assistant Intern to join our team at the Duncan, SC facility . This temporary internship provides hands-on experience across multiple areas of Human Resources, including: Recruitment and onboarding Training support Employee records and documentation Employee relations support HR reporting and administrative functions

$16.70/hour This is a great opportunity for someone interested in gaining practical, hands-on HR experience in a manufacturing environment. Job Responsibilities Provide support in full-cycle recruiting for the local manufacturing facility. Assist in screening, interviewing, and onboarding qualified candidates for open positions. Collaborate with temp agencies and technical colleges to participate in career/job fairs and recruitment events. Assist in coordinating and conducting employee orientation and onboarding programs. Follow-up with new hires after their first 90 days of employment to ensure smooth onboarding for each position. Assist in collecting data, compiling reports, and monitoring turnover. Support in maintaining employee personnel documents, benefit records, and required legal documents. Assist in executing disciplinary actions as needed under the guidance of local HR management. Support in the implementation and execution of training programs. Provide assistance in administering various HR plans and procedures for company personnel, including FMLA protocols and workers compensation-related instances. Job Requirements Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or relevant field is preferred. Previous experience in HR or related administrative roles is preferred. Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, sourcing, and recruitment tools is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. Bi-lingual (Spanish) language skills preferred but not required.
