HQ, Bldg 1947 (Patton Hall), Shaw Air Force Base, SC Schedule Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 0800-1630 (30-minute unpaid lunch) Security Clearance SECRET Employment Type Full-Time, Contract — contingent on contract award About the Role You'll support the Headquarters Battalion's administrative and personnel support mission by managing personnel suitability determinations and related administrative processes. What You'll Do Process and track personnel suitability/fitness determinations for assigned military and civilian personnel. Coordinate suitability case documentation with HR, security, and legal offices as required. Maintain suitability case files and tracking logs. Advise leadership on suitability process status and requirements. Support related administrative personnel actions for the battalion. What You'll Need Prior experience in personnel suitability, HR administration, or related military/DoD personnel support functions. Working knowledge of suitability/fitness determination processes and applicable regulations. Strong attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive personnel information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Must be able to complete a favorable background investigation appropriate to the position within the first week of starting, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within the first two weeks. Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter. If the position requires a security clearance, must complete annual threat-awareness and operations-security refresher training. Professional appearance and conduct consistent with a military headquarters environment. No travel required for this position.
