Qualifications Research Full Job Description Overview:
This position is responsible for providing administrative support and performing a variety of technical Human Resources functions. These functions include recordkeeping, auditing, reporting, processing of paperwork, maintaining accurate personnel files, distribution of Human Resource communications, and performing all other activities directed or assigned by management.
Responsibilities:
Process, record, and audit information, such as but not limited to, personnel data, compensation, benefits, attendance, performance evaluations, background checks, and termination information. Ensure all required forms are accurately completed and authorizing approvals have been obtained. Comply and maintain, with accuracy, all personnel files and follow strict guidelines regarding filing structure, retention of documents, and confidentiality of information. May provide information to management upon appropriate authorization for purposes of performance reviews, promotions, discipline, etc. Assist with the administration of performance reviews. Prepare, compile, and distribute required employee data to managers, update employee records accordingly, and audit all records for completion and accuracy. Perform routine and non-routine audits to ensure accuracy of data. Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks needed to ensure our practices and systems comply. Communicate results to management and ensure proper corrections are made and procedures and checklists are updated accordingly. Effectively carry out programs in accordance with company procedures, such as state and federal poster compliance, memo issuance, employment verifications, and management of company bulletin boards. Keep current on regulation or guideline changes. Will provide support to various HR departments to assist with special projects, as needed. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Skills and Abilities Proficient in data entry and filing. Ability to research subject matter, write procedures, and follow directions. General computer knowledge and proficiency. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Experience in a Human Resource database system is preferred. Demonstrated Competencies Accuracy and attention to detail is required. Organized and task oriented with the ability to meet deadlines. Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision. Ability to communicate with all levels of employees in verbal and written format. Ability to adhere to strict confidential guidelines. Must have regular and punctual attendance. Physical Requirements Office setting.
Experience:
Experience in Human Resources or administrative office is preferred.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent, or verifiable ability to perform essential job functions.
