Baptist Health Sciences University Job Description
Overview and Responsibilities:
Baptist Health Sciences University's Health Administration Program seeks to hire an adjunct Instructor for the Health Administration program at Baptist Health Sciences University. The person in this role will teach Human Resources courses across the curriculum; assist with administering the Health Administration program rules, regulations, and policies inpliance with current Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA) Standards; assess students' knowledge, skills, andpetencies in Health Administration courses; cooperate with the program faculty in periodic review/assessment, and revision of course materials as needed; and demonstrates knowledge of educational content for a bachelor's degree Health Administration program. This position is under the administrative direction of the Academic Dean and/or general direction of the Program Chair for the Health Administration program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Holds, at a minimum a master's degree from an accredited institution in Human Resources or a related discipline appropriate for college teaching; documents five years' work experience in human resources in healthcare; and credentialed as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional (cHAP), or a member of Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) or similaranization.
