JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and directing the HR department, ensuring the smooth implementation of policies and procedures across all human resources functions. These functions include staffing, employee relations, training, labor relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Understanding the responsibilities associated with the Senior Human Resource Coordinator role at McCormick ensures that all employees follow the guidelines outlined in this description, completing their tasks in line with the organization's objectives and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Develop Organizational Strategies:
Identify and research human resources issues, contribute to organizational strategy, and establish HR objectives aligned with company goals. 2.
Implement HR Strategies:
Establish department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employee processing, compensation, benefits, training, safety, succession planning, employee relations, and compliance. 3.
Manage HR Operations:
Oversee the recruitment, selection, training, coaching, and development of staff. Manage performance evaluations, compensation structures, productivity, and customer service strategies. Resolve operational issues and lead change initiatives. 4.
Develop HR Financial Strategies:
Forecast HR needs, estimate trends and variances, align resources, measure results, and take corrective actions as needed to meet departmental financial goals. 5.
Accomplish Special Projects:
Clarify priorities, communicate requirements, evaluate progress, and coordinate actions to achieve project milestones. Adapt plans as necessary to achieve organizational objectives. 6.
Support Management:
Provide HR advice and counsel management, analyze HR issues, and help inform decision-making to align with organizational goals. 7.
Guide Management and Employee Actions:
Research, develop, and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure communication and enforcement of organizational values across teams. 8.
Ensure Legal Compliance:
Stay up to date with federal, state, and local labor laws. Advise management on compliance and necessary actions to mitigate legal risks. 9.
Update Job Knowledge:
Continuously enhance professional knowledge by attending conferences, reading publications, participating in networking events, and engaging with professional organizations. 10.
Enhance Department Reputation:
Take ownership of new initiatives, explore opportunities to add value, and enhance the reputation of both the HR department and the organization.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
