Job Description
Human Resources Coordinator (Healthcare) Why Wellsential Health At Wellsential Health, we're a non-profit, mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting both our residents and the people who care for them. Our HR team plays a critical role in building strong, compliant, and engaged teams across our facilities, and that starts with the Human Resources Coordinator. Position Overview The Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) supports the day-to-day HR operations of the facility, with a strong focus on recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and employee records. This role partners closely with leadership to ensure a smooth hiring process, accurate documentation, and a positive employee experience from day one. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Onboarding Coordinate the full hiring process, including job postings, screening support, and interview scheduling Manage onboarding for new hires, including background checks, drug screens, and orientation Ensure all new hire documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant I-9 & Compliance (Key Focus Area) Complete and verify I-9 employment eligibility forms in compliance with federal guidelines Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies Timekeeping & HR Operations Manage timekeeping and payroll support, ensuring accuracy and timely corrections Assist with labor tracking and reporting Utilize HRIS systems (Paycom or similar) for data entry, reporting, and employee updates Employee Support & Relations Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and procedures Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation as needed Support a positive, professional, and compliant workplace culture Training & Reporting Track and ensure completion of required trainings and in-services (Relias, etc.) Generate and maintain weekly HR reports for leadership Support audits and compliance reviews as needed QualificationsEducation & Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred) 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare, skilled nursing, or long-term care Strong experience with I-9 verification and onboarding processes (required) Skills & Competencies Knowledge of HR laws, compliance, and confidentiality standards Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom, Oracle, Kronos, ADP, or similar) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Why You'll Love It Here Be part of a mission-driven, nonprofit organization Tuition assistance to support your growth Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare HR environment Opportunity to grow into advanced HR roles Apply Today If you're looking to grow your HR career in healthcare and play a key role in building strong teams, we'd love to connect with you. #
