Job Description

Job Summary HireWorks is seeking an energetic, bilingual HR Clerk to join our client's team! We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who is not afraid to think outside the box and bring creative ideas to the workplace. The ideal candidate will assist with the recruiting process, administrative HR tasks, and maintaining organized employee records. Responsibilities Assist in talent acquisition efforts by supporting recruiting activities, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews in both languages. Manage employee onboarding and orientation processes, ensuring new hires are welcomed and informed about company policies. Maintain accurate personnel records, including data entry into HR systems such as HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms like Oracle HCM or UltiPro. Support benefits administration by explaining options and processing enrollments in compliance with applicable regulations. Handle employee relations inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality, facilitating effective communication between staff and management. Contribute to performance management initiatives through data collection, employee evaluations, and documentation updates. Assist with compliance activities such as affirmative action planning, OSHA regulations, FMLA administration, and regulatory reporting requirements. Assist with the recruiting and hiring process. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). Previous HR or recruiting experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail. Energetic, positive, and professional attitude. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and take initiative. Comfortable thinking creatively and finding solutions. Help screen and coordinate candidates. Support onboarding and employee paperwork. Maintain accurate and organized employee files. Assist with filing, data entry, and general administrative duties. Communicate with candidates and employees in English and Spanish. Think outside the box to help improve recruiting efforts and office processes. Provide support to the HR team as needed. Requirements Fluency in both English and Spanish (or other relevant languages), with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages. Proven experience in human resources management, personnel administration, or related fields. Strong knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR legal compliance standards across jurisdictions. Proficiency with HR systems such as HRIS (e.g., Oracle HCM), ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems like Kenexa BrassRing), and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel for data analysis. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism. Experience in recruiting, onboarding, employee evaluation, benefits administration, and workforce management strategies. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with project management principles, change management processes, and training & development practices is preferred.
