Responsible for providing support to HR operations in the East Branch. Will work with other interns and local HR Generalists to complete assigned tasks and projects, provide customer service, and perform other duties as assigned. 
Essential Duties:
Assists in maintaining confidential information and records.

Primarily supports the HR Generalists.

Maintains files, records, and logs, paper and electronic.

Enters data into various Human Resources systems.

Assists with recruiting, pre-employment/due diligence tasks and onboarding/offboarding.

Conducts data audits/updates- Education, Driver's License, Safety Impact, Professional Engineer, Emergency Contact and other systems information, as assigned.

Assists in event preparation, including but not limited to: New Employee Orientation, Recruiting, Wellness and other district events as needed.

Gains exposure to Human Resources-related issues. (overserving conversations & presentations; assisting with other tasks as needed.)Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
