SUMMARY We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to join our team and support the HR department with a variety of tasks and projects. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of HR in an ever-evolving environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with new-hire onboarding procedures and orientation preparation Maintain internal databases and files with employee records. Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed (audits, swag distribution, etc.) Assist with employee engagement events Create content for the internal employee bulletin board Assist the HR staff in filling employment forms and gathering market trends Be an ambassador for Firefly core values
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Desired:
Understanding of basic labor laws Willing to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving, and fast-paced environment Detail-oriented, managing multiple priorities while maintaining focus towards a common goal Event planning and execution experience To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
