Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Talent & HR Associate who will primarily focus on sourcing, engaging, and hiring top talent while also supporting broader HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the fast-paced nature of recruiting but also wants exposure to core HR operations such as employee onboarding, policy support, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working closely with managers, leadership, and employees across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Technical Recruiting (Primary) Partner with managers to understand hiring needs and role requirements. Source and recruit candidates for roles including Electricians, Plumbers, HVAC Techs, and office staff.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle:
sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating interviews, and offers. Develop and maintain candidate pipelines using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and other sourcing tools. Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Support employer branding initiatives and job posting optimization. HR Generalist Support (Secondary) Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation. Maintain employee records and HR documentation. Assist with HR policies, compliance, and employee communications. Support employee lifecycle activities such as offboarding, benefits administration coordination, and internal HR programs. Assist with HR reporting and administrative tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Human Resources, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in skilled trade recruiting . 2+ years of HR generalist experience Experience sourcing candidates through platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Experience with HR Generalist or HR operations tasks. Knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices. Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Pay:
From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
