Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Assistant to join our team. HR Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support primarily to Human Resources department as well as Administrator. This role involves assisting with daily HR functions, from filing and updating policy manuals; disseminating information to the correct department or branch, when necessary, along with other duties as assigned while ensuring smooth operations within the organization and providing vital support to our team. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail & organization, able to work under pressure and tight time frames, must be able to communicate in English and Spanish both in reading and writing. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have a great attitude. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Responsibilities Promotes the philosophy, mission and administrative policies of the Agency by presenting a positive image. Knowledge of personnel regulations preferred; computer skills required; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records in alignment with state regulations, Medicaid guidelines, and licensing standards. Audit and track mandatory employee files to ensure total compliance. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence related to HR functions Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Experience Previous experience as a Human Resource Assistant or two years' general office experience; human resources experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information professionally. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully while developing valuable HR skills.
