From the exceptional service at the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes making sure your checked bags arrive with you, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day. Job Overview and Responsibilities Assists managers and supervisors by performing administrative activities and functions associated with scheduling, payroll, accounts payable, report preparation and wellness administration associated with office and personnel function in a Station Operations office. Assists in the development and maintenance of advance work schedules for station operation functions utilizing computer-generated volume data and staffing guidelines Develops and maintains statistical data and prepares information and reports pertaining to budgets, office forecasts, airport operations and performance Makes local purchases within authorized limits, maintains office supplies and processes local statements for payment Performs personnel-related duties including filing, process payroll in accordance with provisions of union agreements and company policy Provide support for management by coordination and preparation of reports associated with personnel functions Qualifications What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications): High school diploma or equivalent Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs Ability to walk long distances between terminals Strong Microsoft Excel skills including, but not limited to: data entry, sorting, filtering, copy/paste, V-lookup, create formula calculations, conditional formatting United will consider applicants with criminal histories consistent with the Fair Chance Ordinance Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software Must be flexible and willing to work rotating shifts in a 24 hour/7 day a week operation including weekends, nights, and holidays Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications): Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience Related airline experience Experience in a clerical/administrative, airport operations role Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task Ability to maintain composure in high volume/high pressure situations Ability to learn various airline-specific computer programs Ability to communicate interpersonally to achieve problem solving, knowledge-sharing and teamwork The base pay range for this role is $37,810.00 to $49,314.00. The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This position may also be eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
