Full Job Description About Us:
We are looking for someone with the drive and confidence to express their ideas and work towards their goals. Our ideal candidate would contribute to a positive and successful fast-paced environment. In this position you will provide administrative support and assistance to the CEO, VP, and the back office of our restaurant group. We are looking to grow this candidate's position over time with more responsibility and into a leadership role- career driven candidates are encouraged.
Role Expectations:
- Answer and direct telephone calls
- Completing forms and communicating to contacts in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support to office team, including but not limited to filing, scanning, printing, organizing inventory
- Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
- Handle tasks in a timely manner, feeling comfortable to ask necessary questions, whether the task is scheduled or assigned as needed
- Write and edit documents and spreadsheets
- Assist HR including but not limited to; approving paperwork and adding them to systems
- Accounting assistance including but not limited to; help build reports that are generated from Quickbooks, along with assistance with accounts payable as needed
- Operations departments including but not limited to; making orders that they need, mail out items for stores outside of
Houston Key Competencies:
- Good with numbers/spreadsheets as lot of our work is centered around providing tools to the operations team and the CEO
- Ability to think analytically
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- verbal and written
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills Requirements
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- 1-2 years experience as Office Support Staff
- we will provide all the training necessary for the role
- Bilingual in Spanish is a great plus!
