Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations for a field services organization in Midland, Texas. This contract-to-permanent position focuses on pre-employment processing, onboarding coordination, employee record administration, and ongoing workforce support. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to keep multiple HR activities moving efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pre-employment processing by arranging background checks and coordinating required drug screenings and physical exams for candidates.
- Guide new employees through the onboarding experience, including preparation of employment documents and scheduling orientation activities.
- Build, update, and organize personnel files to maintain accurate records and support compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Safeguard sensitive employee data by ensuring HR documents and personnel information are handled with a high level of confidentiality.
- Administer uniform rental activities, including submitting requests for new items, processing exchanges, and managing returns.
- Review and confirm per diem eligibility based on established company guidelines and supporting documentation.
- Maintain employee housing records by tracking assignments, occupancy status, move-ins, and move-outs.
- Partner with department leaders to communicate housing updates and keep related employee information current.
- Contribute to HR initiatives and special projects that improve processes and support operational needs.
