Full-time position (medical, dental, vision, life & 401k). Job purpose The HR Administrative Assistant performs day-to-day HR/staffing operations and office/clerical duties. This position will perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following: Duties and responsibilities Administrative Provides clerical and administrative support to COO and HR/Office Manager. Answers telephone and greet visitors to the office in a professional and friendly manner. Coordinate office supply orders. Human Resources Hire production employees as needed to always keep a fully staffed production line. Post jobs, process applications and maintain an adequate pool of applicants for attrition. Maintain seasonal new hires and terminations in HRIS, time clock and payroll systems. Track attendance in time clock for production employees. Process weekly payroll for seasonal employees. Maintain I-9 and seasonal employee personnel files. Process new hire paperwork. Administer/log first aid. Other duties and projects assigned. Off Season Coordinate and participate in seasonal employee evaluations Rotate and archive office files (personnel, payroll, accounting, etc.) Annual HR projects (job descriptions, audits, etc.) Initiate and complete relevant HR/Payroll compliance education and training (seminars, webinars, manuals, magazines, websites {i.e. SHRM, DOL, EEOC, IRS, BLS, OSHA, etc.}). Identify and research human resource management policies, practices and procedures that optimize productivity, efficiency and conformance to legal requirements.
