Summary Under general supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the employee assists in the file maintenance of county employee personnel records. The intern organizes and maintains a hard copy file system that is accurate, preserving county records and managing paperwork effectively. The employee must maintain a high standard of confidentially of all employee records and information. Responsibilities Performs a wide range of duties relative to the maintenance of personnel files. Assists in the scanning, indexing, and filing of employee personnel records, ensuring personnel records are organized and maintained in an orderly manner. Sorts and files forms, reports, correspondence, and related documents. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience Graduation from high school or GED. 1-year clerical experience, with 9 months specifically in file maintenance preferred. Student or within one semester of graduating from a higher education institution. Other Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations This position is temporary. Hours are Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM
