Job Title:
University Recruiting Coordinator Job Description Our University Recruiting Coordinator serves as a key partner to a team of recruiters supporting campus and early career hiring initiatives within a large technology organization. In this fast-paced environment, the Coordinator plays a critical role in managing recruiting logistics, ensuring a seamless candidate experience, and helping attract top emerging talent. As one of the first points of contact for candidates, this individual helps create a positive and professional impression of the organization while building strong relationships throughout the recruiting process. Responsibilities Schedule interviews and phone screens, working directly with candidates and hiring managers, and arrange travel for visiting candidates when necessary. Update candidate records and job postings in recruiting systems and confirm new hires. Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates regarding their recruiting status via phone and email. Track recruiting activities and provide candidate status updates in a weekly report. Coordinate post-interview debrief meetings and supply debrief materials. Identify opportunities for improving candidate experience and scheduling efficiency. Assist in the coordination of other recruiting activities as needed. Essential Skills 1+ years of recruiting coordinator or administrative/coordination experience. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bachelor's degree required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Superb customer focus, attention to detail, and organizational skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Work Environment This 100% onsite opportunity is based in Arlington, VA, and offers a 6-month contract assignment with potential for extension and/or permanent conversion based on business needs and performance . The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, requiring adaptability, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Arlington, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
