Science and Technology Corporation (STC) is a well-established company based in Hampton, VA who has been delivering an extensive range of award-winning advanced scientific, engineering, and technical support services to the U.S. Government and industry customers for over 40 years. STC has multiple contracts with NASA, NOAA and the Department of Defense and provide expertise in areas including aerospace engineering, earth and atmospheric sciences, chemical and biological defense, military systems and technology, and electronic assembly and hardware fabrication. STC is currently seeking a Human Resource Technician to join our corporate team in Hampton, VA. This is a general staff human resource position that reports to the Human Resource Supervisor and duties will vary based on immediate needs. Government contracting experience is highly desired. Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and Talent is a plus. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Working knowledge of employment law Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with benefit administration preferred Deltek Costpoint and Talent Systems experience a plus Key Responsibilities Maintain personnel, benefits, and HRIS records Administer employee benefits, including claims resolution and COBRA processing Compile HR reports and support annual audits Manage annual training records Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding Support affirmative action program development and annual
