Job Overview We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team and take ownership of employee relations, recruiting support, and onboarding. This is a new position created to give our people-facing HR work a dedicated owner -you'll be the first point of contact for employees, a partner to hiring managers, and the person who makes sure every new hire's first weeks go smoothly. This role is a great fit for someone who's organized, discreet, and genuinely enjoys the human side of HR work. Responsibilities Employee Relations Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and workplace issues Support conflict resolution between employees and supervisors, escalating to the HR Manager as needed Document employee relations matters, including verbal/written warnings, investigation notes, and meeting summaries Help ensure consistent, fair application of company policies across departments Assist with exit interviews and off boarding conversations Posting of all HR items Employee morale, employee lunches, popsicles, drink packages etc. Recruiting Post open roles and screen incoming resumes Conduct initial phone/video candidate screens Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers Manage candidate communication and offer logistics Maintain the candidate pipeline/tracker Onboarding Own new hire paperwork, orientation scheduling, and first-week logistics Coordinate with payroll, IT, and facilities to make sure new hires are fully set up on day one Assist new hires with registering for employee benefits as needed Conduct or coordinate new hire check-ins at the 30/60/90-day marks Training Assist in scheduling and coordinating required employee training sessions (e.g., safety, compliance, skills development, Benefits) Track completion of mandatory and certification-based training requirements Maintain training records and follow up with employees and managers on upcoming or overdue training Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including venues, materials, and outside trainers/vendors Compliance Documentation Assist in compiling and organizing state and federal HR-related documents for compliance purposes (e.g., EE0-1, OSHA logs, l-9s, FMLA, ADA documentation) Support preparation for audits and regulatory reporting requirements Help ensure required labor law postings and notices are current Maintain accurate, well-organized compliance records and documentation Administrative Support Maintain employee files and HR records Support the HR Manager on ad hoc projects, including policy and handbook updates Qualifications 1+ years of experience in an HR, recruiting coordinator, or office administration role Strong communication skills and sound judgment handling sensitive/confidential information Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment Organized and able to juggle multiple priorities (ER, recruiting, and onboarding can all be happening at once) HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, aPHR) a plus, but not required Tabet Manufacturing Co., Inc. is growing, and this role is a chance to shape what HR support looks like here from the ground up-your fingerprints will be on the policies, processes, and employee experience as we build it out.
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
