Overnight Shift Security Officer

• Montpelier, VT Securitas is hiring for TWO Full-Time Security Officers immediately to help keep our university campus clients site safe in Northfield, VT!

Pay:

$21.00/hr Schedule 1: Sunday through Wednesday 4:00 pm

• 2:00 am (4 shifts, 40 hours per week) Schedule 2: Thursday through Sunday 10:00 pm
• 8:00 am (4 shifts, 40 hours per week) This position is for a

TEMPORARY

detail which will run until June/July 2026. Once the contract ends, our hiring team will be happy to assist you in finding other sites to continue working with Securitas on a permanent basis! MUST be flexible during the first few weeks of starting the position. The first week will include training Monday through Friday, followed by a second week of shadowing with another officer. Primary Job Duties:

Provide excellent customer service with a strong sense of professionalism Observe and report in and near the property, identifying and responding to any potential threat or safety hazard Conduct hourly foot patrols of the property Respond to various client needs via face-to-face interactions, radio communications, phone calls, and occasionally emails

Requirements:

• Highly personable with strong customer service skills
• must be comfortable with frequent interactions with the public High level of professionalism Walking/standing for long periods of time
• VT Guard Card
