Job Description

Gifford is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Human Resources team while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information. The HR Coordinator supports payroll and employee record functions, including processing status changes, new hires, deductions, ETO, retirement salary deferrals, and personnel and payroll changes in Meditech, Kronos, and Bswift. The position maintains accurate employee files and assists with new-hire paperwork and orientation. This role provides customer service to employees regarding HR, benefits, and payroll questions, directing employees to the appropriate staff when needed. Additional responsibilities include processing background checks, maintaining certification and licensure records, assisting with employee recognition events, and coordinating performance reviews. The HR Coordinator collaborates with the Accounting Department and other internal teams, maintains HR records and supplies, and ensures accurate handling and distribution of confidential documents.
