Job Description
Summit Properties is seeking a highly organized, personable, and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our day-to-day business operations and help keep our headquarters running efficiently in South Burlington, VT. Working closely with the Director of Operations, this position touches nearly every part of the organization and serves as a key resource for employees across departments and property locations. The Operations Coordinator will provide administrative, recruiting, technology, software, training, and general office support. The ideal candidate enjoys variety, is comfortable learning new technology, takes initiative, and thrives in a busy environment. From keeping the office organized and coordinating company events to supporting Human Resources and assisting site staff with software needs, no two days are the same. This position will be full-time, Monday through Friday. Some flexibility on scheduled hours is available if needed. Key Responsibilities Support the Director of Operations with administrative tasks, special projects, and company-wide initiatives. Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming headquarters office, including coordinating mail, supplies, deliveries, office equipment, and shared spaces. Serve as a friendly and helpful resource for employees, visitors, vendors, and property staff. Assist with planning company meetings, trainings, employee events, recognition efforts, and other internal activities. Support Human Resources and recruiting efforts by reviewing applicants, conducting initial phone screens, completing reference checks, and assisting with other hiring-related tasks. Serve as the primary point of contact for site staff software questions and support requests, including troubleshooting basic issues, coordinating with internal departments, and tracking requests through resolution. Assist with IT and technology needs for headquarters and site staff, including setting up computers and equipment for new employees. Assist with maintaining company records, electronic files, website content, surveys, internal communications, and the company training manual in accordance with brand standards. Assist with ordering and distributing company apparel, marketing materials, employee gifts, and other supplies. Perform additional duties as needed to support the operations and objectives of Summit Properties.
