Full-time HR Coordinator Schedule:
Full-Time | Onsite At Anacortes Health and Rehabilitation, we're dedicated to providing exceptional skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and assisted living services that empower our residents to recover, thrive, and live well. We're seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will also be support our Assisted Living buildings on our shared campus. The HR Coordinator plays a vital part in supporting our staff and leadership by managing all aspects of human resources, payroll, and employee relations. What You'll Do Serve as the on-site HR and payroll contact for the facility, partnering closely with the Administrator Support employees throughout the full lifecycle—from onboarding and benefits administration to performance and offboarding Prepare and maintain accurate and compliant personnel files for all staff Conduct background checks, manage employee data entry, and process payroll accurately and on time Provide HR support for unionized employees, ensuring adherence to labor agreements Collaborate with the Home Office HR team to implement company programs and initiatives Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, compliance, and positive workplace practices Assist with open enrollment, new hire orientation, and annual performance reviews Maintain records of workplace injuries and coordinate with workers' compensation carriers Partner with the talent acquisition team to support recruitment and hiring processes Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred 1+ year of HR and/or payroll experience required (healthcare experience a plus) Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and payroll systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism PHR or SPHR certification preferred Why Join Us At Anacortes, you'll be part of a supportive team where every role contributes to creating a positive environment for residents and staff alike.
