Position:
HR Assistant/Scheduler Key Responsibilities:
Oversee staffing and scheduling of clinical staff to help ensure appropriate coverage and meet community needs. Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation for all community positions. Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records and personnel files. Administer employee benefits and assist with payroll and HR-related questions. Support employee engagement, recognition, retention, coaching, and performance management. Ensure compliance with employment laws, licensing, mandatory training, and regulatory requirements. Maintain survey readiness and support state and federal inspections. Partner with department leaders to meet staffing needs and build a positive workplace culture. Assist with resident billing, accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, petty cash, and business office operations. Maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional customer service to employees, residents, families, and visitors.Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience required; healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience preferred. Staffing and scheduling; payroll processing experience required. Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance. Business office experience, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, payroll support, or office administration, preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and HR/payroll systems; PointClickCare (PCC) experience is a plus. Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Benefits
